Vx Ace help please

Recommended Posts

Hello, I'm in a bit of a pickle I suppose. I had toyed around on RPG Maker Vx Ace on trial subscription nearly two years ago now, and have forgotten everything I had gathered in that thirty day period. I lost my data after reboot for some reason, and I cannot remember anything about the basic programming, and have no clue how to create my Title screen. I've no cue if I've put this in the right place (I'd just found the community today and made my account, this is my first post) Could someone please shine some light on my situation and give me some pointers? Maybe even some material (easy access online prefered) to study over for help? Thank you.

Mmmm.... pickles....

Are you trying to make a custom title screen via scripting? If so, Script Requests or Script Support are the best places to place them. I'm not a coder so I'm useless in aiding you.

If you're trying to make the title screen through the database, you'll find the settings under System. You can change the pictures and music in there. By default the title is set to your Project Name.

That's true ~ Please provide more information on what you're trying to achieve, so that others will know more and be able to help you.

Try things by yourself and when you'll get stuck with something ~ then ask a question and achieve the success step by step. (=

Making Title screen varies from options in editor (command names), graphics (background) to scripting (changing the look of various things, making it animated etc.)

What exactly do you want to make?

Change background? Displayed game's title? "New Game" etc. command names or the whole look of that window? Making it animated?
