Elemental Status Info

Overview

 

Need to see elemental attack/resistance?

 

Features

 

-displays total elemental attack modifiers

-displays total elemental resist modifiers

-element window scrolls in!

 

How it works

 

Just include the script in your project.

In the status menu, press OK to open the elements window.

Press cancel to close it.

 

0% means there's no modifiers (full damage)

Positive/negative indicates the modifier. 100% resistance means you are immune to that element. 100% attack means you deal twice as much damage with that element.

 

In your database, if you want to say "fire immunity" you would set "element rate/efficienty: fire = 0%"

 

Customizations can be made at the top

If you have more or less elements, you can add them there.

Notes

 

Currently it only supports 8 elements since I haven't implemented page scrolling in the window.

 

The total is derived from the product of all elemental modifiers across your actor's base features, class features, and equips.

 

The game doesn't distinguish between attack and resist, which is kind of silly. I will be writing another script that changes some simple logic to actually distinguish the two.

 

If you know of any scripts that already implement proper elemental attack/def modifiers, let me know.

I wrote one at the same time, but am wondering how to best combine them together.

Some people may only need one and not the other, for example.

It crashes.

 

 

It says Script "TSU - Elementa Status Info" line 144: No MethodError occurred.

 

undefined method '[]' for nil:NilClass

 

How I should fix?

 

I test it on a new project and It doesn0t work either...
