This game is a prototype. It was my first attempt at making a game, and it suffers from me having a lack of any experience. It will not be canonically associated with the full Time Whisper game when it comes out, nor anything else really.

Time Whisper is an RPG about walking in other people's minds.  You play in an open world, where you can go up to any person you come across, and enter their mind.  Each persons mind is like a little world of it's own, where you can read their thoughts, cure mental illnesses, just mess with them, and other stuff like that.

                                                                                                                        Get the demo Here

When you try and download it you might get a few warnings. I'm using a script called Khas Ultra lighting, which doesn't legally allow me to give out open source versions, so I had to use encrypted files. However it is safe. If you get a virus (you won't) you can sue me or something.

Character bios: I don't understand why this is required. I would like to keep the backstory and info about my characters hidden until the games final or demo release. There's only one playable character, and she doesn't have any memory. If I'm somehow breaking the rules by not giving any more info, then honestly that's rather stupid. But even so, let me know if I'm violating the rules so much that this needs to be taken down.

Don't worry, we understand! All you have to do is write something like,

Character Bios:

[Main character name]: A girl who awakens with no memory.

I'm coming close to a demo release of the game, so I thought I should post a bit about what the demo actually is.

Why I say "what the demo actually is" is because it's not really like most demos for games.  The reason being is that it serves as a game of it's own.  A short one at that, but still a game.  It serves all the purposes that a normal demo does; showing how the game plays, ect.  But it also has a story of it's own that will connect with the full game.

I've finished the main story, maps, characters, ect. of the demo, but it needs a bit more polishing before release.  I also might want to find a musician so the demo can have some music, but that's not really my top priority.

I'm mainly posting this for the record, I don't think many people will actually read it.  But hey if you're reading it, and you are, then that's pretty cool I guess.

I also updated some screenshots in the main post, as well as added screenshots for the characters in the character bios.

First of all, I like your art style! The story about entering people's mind is interesting too!  :D

Good job!!  :thumbup3:

I likely won't have the time or attention span to play it, but I will say I dig the style and concept.

Keep up the good work!

Thanks!  I personally don't really care for my art style a whole lot, but thanks for the feedback!

Woot woot!  The demo is now live!  I don't expect many people to play it right off the back, but it's cool to finally be (kind of) done with it.  Now I've just gotta make the full game.

Any feedback on the demo is highly appreciated!

Sounds like a really interesting project. I'm busy with judging IiaW atm but I'll definitely give that demo of yours a runthrough when I've got a little more gaming space.

Just finished a huge update for the demo.  Cut the file size down from 377 MB to 57 MB by removing unneeded RTP files, updated a lot of things graphical wise, added more music, and added some more weapons and items.

Just fixed two huge game breaking bugs that I didn't even know where in TW Demo.  Apologies to anyone who had played the demo and run into them.  I also reduced the speed of White Static, making those painfully difficult parts with them not so difficult.
