Weapon changing for lead actor

For the sake of convenience, I was looking for script that would change the lead actor's weapon to their signature weapon when they are put into the lead actor position. I don't want this to stop them from changing their weapons to other ones later though.

Do you want the weapon to automatically be equipped when you start the game?

or you you want it to equip later when the obtain the weapon?

or do you only want the weapon to equip when one actor is put to the start as the party leader.

So, I want to equip a certain weapon, if it's in the inventory, depending on the party leader. Meaning, it will change whenever you put a different character in the first slot using the formation command.
