RPG Maker Conditions/Auto Movement-Glitch

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone!

I have ran into a problem where for some reason I am unable to apply any changes that were made in the database or elsewhere. Instead, whenever I try to create a new event, I get conditions selected for me automatically that I cannot remove, and the autonomous movement is set as customizable no matter what type I choose. This problem persists even when I restart the engine (and Steam), and will return occassionally after I restart the computer as well.

If anyone has any idea how to solve this, I would be very grateful.

Thanks in advance,

Well, from your screenshot, it seems that all the Conditions are turned off, since the checkboxes are not marked, so it should act just like "no conditions".

Also, Automouse Movement is set to fixed, so the event shouldn't move.

Have you tried testing the gameplay?

Somebody had that issue some time ago ~

I don't remember what was the solution or if that was fixed at all ~ but it seems to be a bug with the software itself ~ have you tried reinstalling the whole RPG Maker?

Does the move route optino have anything set up inside it?

If the custom move route is empty, it shouldn't do anything anyway - though your screenshot says it's fixed and not custom so your event shouldn't be moving anyway.

As wariolandgoldpiramid said though, the features are there but not actually active so they shouldn't cause any problem.

How does the event run in game? Does it work or not?

Hey everyone!

Sorry for the late reply. There doesn't seem to have been any problems with the engine recently. I will definitely look into what you have told me if the problem returns however.

Thank you for all your help,

Markus
