Hello, everyone. Kirimash here with another game. This one is also funny, like "Talk...With Just GIFs".

 

What do you do in Unabbreviate? Quoting from my friend Jeroen at GameJolt:

 

 

The idea is this. The one before you has picked a word, for example: flower

Now you try to turn "flower" into an abbreviation and give it's meaning like: For Love Of Waterloo, Eat Rice

And then you give up a new word for the next poster.

There are a few ways to cheat acceptable.

• Articles ("The", "a" or "an") can be added even if you don't have the letter. Like with flower: "For the Love of Waterloo, Eat a Riceball."
• Prepositions ("with","without","at","in","into","on","onto","to","of") can be used in the same rule as Articles.
• All other words (particularly nouns, adjectives and verbs) must have the letter in the word.

In official abrreviation you mostly capitalize the letter that you find in the abbrevation itself and write the words not in the abbreviation as the exception rules stated above all in lower case. An alternate acceptable way is by writing the "cheated" words between parents like in the example above as "For (the) Love of Waterloo, Eat (a) Riceball". In that type of wrting you may drop the use of capitals too, but it's not required.

So a little example how this thread can go:

A few rules about the choice of words

• Min 3 letters
• Max 8 letters
• English words only
• No foul words (so don't come up with the f-word or the s-word).
• The type of word doesn't matter. Nouns, verbs, articles, adjectives, prepositions. You may use it all.
• No 1337-5p34K (LEET-Speak)!
• We cannot prevent if this thread gets long that words are used multiple times, but each words may only be used ONCE per PAGE.

About the meanings:

• It must be grammatically correct.
• No "Kombat" is misspelled, so if you got a "K" you really must come up with a word starting with a "K", no cheating on this one!
• You don't have to make sense, as long as the other rules are upheld.
• No 1337-5p34K (LEET-Speak)!

Well let's come up with the first word, and let's do that in the style of it being the first!

 

But in this one, there can't be cheats. Also, no max on letters. I'm so mean, mwahahaha...
