I forgot to rename it from Project IIAW, xD. The game is about being caught in a war between two AIs and you're helping one. I had to cut a bunch of content and I feel I didn't develop the characters enough because of time constraints, but eh. >_>. * There's a tiny, tiny, tiny, tiny, tiny, tiny part of Super Mario Bros' music used for like 2 seconds as a sort of a reference~ You'll see

 

As I said - I even attempted to make music ~ and though I have absolutely no experience in this ~ after some time I've managed to compose random stuff.

 

This game may be bugged or stuff may be weird ~ that's because I've made all of this within a week, so don't expect anything mind-blowing.

Most of the time went into programming and making resources, so sadly I didn't manage to make longer gameplay. I hope this will be enough though.

 

 

Quick notes:

- This game may run terrible ~ I'm curious how RM will handle all of this on various PC's, so please notify me about the performance you got.

There's a chance, that I'll just abandon ship if it really will be terrible. Multiplayer is even heavier to handle due to double amount of maths.

- Controls are placeholders - I'll make an in-game configuration for these.

The default keys are heavily inconvenient ~

SP => Arrow keys / Z / X

MP => P1: Arrows / , / .

P2: WSAD / Q / E

- Before anybody will yell ~ you CAN SKIP the intro by pressing ENTER.

- This game currently doesn't handle GAME OVER stuff, because I want to implement lives, so stuff will be added later

If you die ~ you have to press F12 or just close the game. (Unprofessional, I know)

- Boxes DON'T give items. It's not a bug ~ that feature isn't just implemented yet.

Also, for those who play my game:

Do not damage Vile Barrett when he said that he's gonna finish everything, unless you know you can finish him in less than 3 turns.

With the game being overly easy though, I don't see that being a problem too much... Especially since Ricky + Shadow Step/Mighty Fist/Adrenaline + Rapid Fist is too darn OP XD

The dropbox contains the .exe and I can run the game from my game folder on the desktop (the one I compressed and uploaded) so I'm unsure what happened.

 

No worries, there wasn't really any gameplay anyway since I never got to actually make any

I'll release a better "demo" later once I make more progress~

 

I feel sad though I never got a shiny NEXT TIME FOR SURE!
