Looks more like Seminole or an other indigenous American to me. But it should pass as an Aztec too.

It looks good, tho.

Sweet! She looks 100% Aztec. Feathers does it. And colors. Blue as a dominant color of the first character seems to be little of place. He can work as a protagonist, a special character you need to differ from crowd.

I'm not sure the face looks right, it was hard to get the head gear and painted face to look like the image.

It looks REALLY cool, I like this guy. Also, as a true ignorant of the mayan culture it certainly looks mayan to me. :P

I think the images I will find for aztec and mayan of the modern world will be similar...

I really like the template I'm using, but I can't seem to find it on google right now, so I can't give the author credit :( but ya, it is fun doing world sprites that haven't been done at all before

also, I can't decide if I want 1 million or 10 thousand unique sprites for my NPC sprite pool for my game :P I mean I have nothing but time, but both those numbers would take many many years at this rate, unless I became a hermit and stopped my treatment for my mental illness, and stopped working altogether save for this game :P I did see an article on pixel generation for games, where an NPC is procedurally generated around some paramaters. not sure if ruby or Ace could even do that to be honest, maybe if I used another library, but I don't know jack about making DLLs.
