Hello everyone. Just signed up today, and already I can see that this is a friendly community that I wish to be a part of. I was already in love with RPG Maker VX Ace, which I brought on steam a while back, and this community has given me all the more reason to enjoy the game maker and what it has to offer. Thank you.  :D

Well Howdy Doody there Pardner!

I'm a greenhorn to these here parts just like ya! Er'body here's clean as a whistle and friendly as apple pie, so I think ya'll 'll fit right in 'round here! ;)

Now if I haven't fright'd ya with mah stereotypical attempt at southern talk, feel free to holler at me if ya need assistance or feel like tradin' stories!

*cut to normal conversational talk*

I like that you're a fellow Ace user like myself! If you ever need help with Ace, although I'm new to the forums, I have a lot of experience with eventing and parallax mapping, so don't hesitate to ask for tips! ^_^

Toodles you awesome person, and have a cookie!

*tosses a choco-chip cookie to you.*

P.S. I'm a bit kooky (hurhur, see what I did there?), but don't let that scare you away, I love talking and meeting new people!

Thank you so much everybody. As I said, this is a very welcoming community and you are all awesome and talented people. It's actually funny how long I spent trying to think of how to respond to such kindness. I mean, I couldn't NOT respond, because that would seem rude or that I was absent/ not paying attention. I do consider myself very introverted, so pardon me if I ever seem quiet or shy or even awkward...

But then again, that's not uncommon among gamers...

Oh! And something that I wanted to mention in my first post but forgot is that I have been working on a small project of sorts called (perhaps temporarily) "Forlonde: A Tale of Heroes". It started as a tutorial game of me learning how the maker works, but is becoming something... more... I don't feel ready yet to let others test it, but once I feel it's somewhat decent, it may show it's head on this site... perhaps... depending on how it's development unfolds...

P.S. Saturnity, that imaginary cookie you tossed me tastes delicious: +50 hp to me, +100 exp to you my friend.  RPG jokes...

So many execution points!!! Thank you!
I've just reached a new level of violence!
:giggle:

Undertale references aside, no worries about being shy or awkward. I think even for the non-introverted types, it can be hard to socialize or reach out to other members when you first join a forum. I feel it's the responsibility of the senior members to make that person feel as welcome as possible (although in my case, I'm only about a week senior, so it probably doesn't amount to much ^_^)

If you manage to finish a working demo of Forlonde, feel free to send it my way and I'll take a crack at it! Both literally and figuratively, seeing as how I tend to break things by simply looking at them

Also, I'm glad you liked the cookie ;)

Saturnity, did you copy that from me?!

Copy? How absurd! I'm completely, totally, ultra original!  :thumbup3:
