Darkness Void 10 Posted December 1, 2016 I remember in RPG Maker XP the beds were split into 2 tiles. One for the bed itself, and then the second were the covers so you could easily show any character asleep in bed. However in VX Ace it seems you can't do that with the defaults tiles. So wanted to ask because my game will have nighttime, and it'd be nice to show some characters asleep in the beds rather than just standing idle in their rooms at night. lonequeso 1,921 Posted December 2, 2016 One of the Community Resource Packs had some, but I'm not sure which one. These were part of it: https://rpgmaker.net/resources/95/ There's a few bed tiles there.

Darkness Void 10 Posted December 2, 2016 yep Question, how do I save these together into 1 tileset? I ask because the background is white, which from past testing I know it'll just show up as a pixal mess when importing. When copying and pasting the background is black, which removes the outlines of certain tiles. When I went to add new items I had to take the Item sheet and color in the background very slowly just so I can re-import with the new items.
lonequeso 1,921 Posted December 3, 2016 If you save the images and open them in a program like Photoshop or Gimp (anything that uses layers) the background should be transparent. Then you can copy/paste and arrange them on to a single tileset.
Darkness Void 10 Posted December 4, 2016 (edited) If you save the images and open them in a program like Photoshop or Gimp (anything that uses layers) the background should be transparent. Then you can copy/paste and arrange them on to a single tileset. I have Gimp, and sweet Celestia RPG Maker is picky as heck! The sprites has to be pixel perfect, and after trail and error I finally got the bed covers lined up perfectly. I think this is all I needed, tho I can't recolor the bed covers and I have to use the one bed as the others are sized differently, but atm this is fine. I have the covers as a event that's above the characters, hm..even tho the event is set as through can't walk under it..more work needed it seems. XD EDIT:Fixed it by going into the tileset editor and setting the beds as under characters. Edited December 4, 2016 by Darkness Void
