Icons for collecting money

Hello. I was wondering how to show the player that they collect money visually. Like with a balloon icon, but not. I already have the money collection already worked out, I just wanted to have a visual cue as well, and not sure how to accomplish this.

I can offer two ideas to help you;

 

MOGHunter's Treasure Pop-up

This is the plugin I use for item pick ups. It's quick, doesn't stop the player and looks neat. Having a short SE before an item gain gives the audio cue too.

 

Yanfly's Icon Balloons

This sounds like what you wanted. If you have icons for your currency/gold, then you can make the balloon appear with the currency icon inside it. It's quick and informative.

Galv's Action Indicators

This is more to show the player they can collect money. This plugin adds an icon to let you know an item is there.

That was very helpful.

 

Although, for the Yanfly one, it doesn't say how to add the icons into the balloons. Do you have a solution to this?

I think it uses the icons from the icon set.
You can specify the icon in the ShowIconBalloon command. For more info, Yanfly's help files are always pretty helpful
