The_Lazy_Sativa 0 Posted September 25, 2017 There doesn't seem to be any tutorial specifically for this; But I am wanting to know how I can create dialogue between two people or actors by using action? for example to have two sprites fight eachother in a pub or two arguing with eachother. Do I need a script for this or is this something that can be achieved by utilizing what the program offers as basic?
Lord Vectra 414 Posted September 25, 2017 Define "through action." Are you saying for the player to be walking and have random NPCs fight? Because you have "Show balloon icon" and "show text" naturally.
roninator2 257 Posted September 25, 2017 (edited) How you make the fight process is up to you, but the program can certainly do most things without scripts. Set an event to run and use move routes for the npc's, text boxes for conversations, SE for effects with the fight, etc.. You just have to thinkĀ it through. Study the command options when making an event. I once asked about making a picture dark during a conversation, turns out it was just simply the tint picture command. Things you may not have noticed yet are the custom move routes for events, lots of things to do there. Edited September 25, 2017 by roninator2
