OctoberRaven 11 Posted December 20, 2017 The EULA has a lot of legal jargon I'm not clear on, and I've only seen definite answers on this regarding previous versions of RPG Maker... But if I'm understanding this correctly, the license of the engine includes the pre-packaged assets within. Therefore, using those pre-packaged assets is allowed in commercially distributed RPG Maker MV games, right? If so, does the DLC assets come with any strings attached? Amysaurus 734 Posted December 20, 2017 Yup! Any resources that come either with the engine or in official DLC are allowed for commercial use. As far as any strings attached... nothing out of the ordinary, really. Some creators may be particular about how they're listed in the credits, but that's about it. The resources you'll need to be wary of are free ones, typically. Some creators only allow for non-commercial use, or may require you to contact them for permission beforehand. Fortunately for me those I contacted for resources have given the okay. Thanks!
