Heya, i have a quick question, I know this would most likely not be possible in MV because it uses JavaScript, but i’ve been wondering...

Hypotheticaly, with enough time to learn the language and all would it be possible to « mess » with the players computer OneShot or Undertale style in VX Ace?

Mostly:

- Changing the Desktop background

- Calling by the user name on the computer

- Sending text files or images in the game directory

- Having the character walk out of the game windows during a cutscene

But also smaller things like:

- Having the game remember when you closed the game manually

- Making the game crash by itself

- Having the game rember certain actions you’ve done across multiple saves

- etc

Or other things like that?

I know OneShot was made in a modified version of RPG Maker 2003/XP (the remake) but i don’t know how modified it was...

From my experience I can confirm these things:

- Changing the Desktop background

- Calling by the user name on the computer

- Sending text files or images in the game directory it is possible to create files such as .txt files with text inside. Not sure about actual images.

- Having the character walk out of the game windows during a cutscene

- Having the game remember when you closed the game manually it is possible to keep track of that

- Making the game crash by itself hah, that's the easiest thing to achieve. I even wrote a script, that forces fullscreen and breaks the game making most of keys don't respond. (it was immune to alt+4 on Win7; haven't tested on Win10)

- Having the game rember certain actions you’ve done across multiple saves also doable, by for example using extra files to store that information.
