How do I post a Status Update?

Hello, I haven't posted a status update in many years. I don't see the option to post one. I can reply to other members' updates, but I don't have the option of writing my own..

Do you have status updates enabled in your profile settings?

 

1. Click your username in the top right corner and select "Profile"

2. Click "Edit Profile" also somewhere in the top right corner of the page

3. "Enable status updates" option will be somewhere at the top

 

Then, you can post status updates:

- from your profile in the activity tab

- using the +create menu at the top, near your notifications

- from the home page using the "RECENT STATUS UPDATES" block to the right (I don't recommend it, as it's all tiny there)
