Making a Game called "FAIRY TALE"

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone! 🤓

I am quite new here and i'm creating a new Game for Rpg-Maker MV, called "Fairy Tale", in German.

I've been working on it for a looooooooooong time, and now I got sure that a need some help...

Especially I have many questions about properties of Armor, Items, Weapon ans Skills. And so on.

Well, I don't know how to put all the questions into one post...

There are some:

1. For example: I choose a Longsword and gear it up. And I choose "15" for Attack. So why does the Hero always MISS the target? And that's with every Weapon...

2. Some maps are alright when you build them, but when you play, there are some tiles suddenly at wrong places. You get? Why is it messing?

3. I played Rpg Maker 2000, and there in the tileset-section, you can choose the "Square" for getting behind the tile. You know what i mean? Because in rpg maker mv you can't choose a "square". How to solve this problem??

THANK YOU for help, so far!!! 😙

As a fairy, I approve of this game! Hehe...

I am not sure about what you mean with 2 and 3, but I do know 1!

If you don't use a feature to set the special HIT ex-parameter on either the hero or the weapon, when the hero attacks they will always miss! I use VX Ace myself, but it's basically the same there too.

Hey man, I hope your project is going good.

2. I have experienced however I just redo the tiles and it goes away although maybe you could post a screenshot of when it happens and what's going on in editor (if it doesn't work). Otherwise maybe we could talk over discord ( does this forum have a server?)

3. I think the square is the layer option in 2000 however for layers in mv you have to manually set tile sets into the different slots. (Let me know if that was it.)

Best wishes
