How do I have my party members visible and following behind the player character?

I've got an event that adds the character to the party, but I want the character still visible and clearly following the player character. Do I need to use another event? Can an event follow the player? Please help, I'm kind of lost.

You need to learn the program (if your using VX Ace) the option to show followers is in the editor under system tab.

For XP you need a script.
