XS - Equip Requirements

Version 1.0a


This script enables equipment requirements for every item. Setup through the notetag system how much attributes you need to equip the specified item. From default an item can be equipped unless requirement is in use.



  • Equipment will now have requirements in order to be equipped.
  • Totally of 9 parameters supported, such as Level, Attack, Magic, Resistance etc.
  • Use skills, weapons and amors as requirements.
  • Compatible with XS - Icon Item and XS - Icon Equip. (Optional to use but will give more information to the player).
  • And more!










How to Use

To install any of my scripts, open up your script editor and copy/paste the script to an open slot below Materials but above Main. Remember to save.



Get the script here.



Released 1.0a. You can now use skills, weapons and armors as requirements as well. Fixed a few bugs and cleaned up the code too. Hope you enjoy!

Is this still supported?

I got an error when trying to equip armor that did not have any minimum requirements. 


When selecting optimize after getting this new piece of armor, got an error box.


Script 'LV Requirements'

line 107:

NoMethodError occurred.


undefined method 'level' for nil:NilClass


Not sure what to make of this. Anyone who knows a bit more about scripting than I do willing to help me troubleshoot maybe?
