Chigoo 38 Posted October 5, 2012 Awesome, thanks! I've commented on the videos. Still confused why you never saved throughout the entire LP, lol. That was pretty good man. I thought you did a great job. One personal thought of mine is you could comment on the story/dialogue more. I didn't have time to watch the whole thing (will watch it all later) but in the beginning there's some dialogue and you let the watcher read it, but I think it might be better if you add in some comments on what you think about the dialogue. Was it good or bad? You seemed somewhat bored by it; if so you should express that so the creator knows his intro does not do a good job of drawing you in, etc. I'm very anxious to see how you develop as a commentator, and would love it if you played my game (which will be ready within 2 weeks or so.) lol ofc, i was bored with the dialog, but not because it wasn't intresting just because im used to listening instead of reading dialog. i will try to improve based on your suggestions. also i didn't save too often because im also used to auto saving or seeing something that reminds me to save,but its actually good for you i did'n save because it just mean i was enjoying your game so much it slipped my mind, and without that thing to remind me of saving i 100% forgot until i died lol. i'll try to get 1 or 2 videos up today, stay tuned! I can't do a lets play today because i restored my computer and i have to get everything back the way it was. I'll definitively finish off the second half of the pirate rush video tomorrow, and might start Last prince lets play. Galv 1,387 Posted October 11, 2012 You could turn the volume of the game down (I know RPGmaker games are really loud by default haha). Windows has a volume mixer (For windows 7 - in the bottom right of the taskbar, a little speaker icon. Right click and open volume mixer. Might be slightly different in other windows). The volume mixer lets you control volume of any open application. Another thing you might want to tweak is your mic. On the same speaker icon, right click and go to "recording devices" (again, this is windows 7, might be different if you have another windows). Left click your mic and click "properties". On the Levels tab, you could try adjusting your mic boost. No need to adjust it if you are coming through clearly, though... I think the game volume is what you'll really need. Why not just for next time do recording first and then add voice commentary after completing the video? If I remember correctly, Windows has a "Sound Recorder" program in Accessories that lets you do stuff like that. Because then that way, you can edit the video in like Movie Maker or something by reducing the volume, and then the two sound tracks won't clash. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Xephyr 6 Posted October 12, 2012 I know that tons of people in this thread have requested a Let's Play, but I believe my game would make for a pretty entertaining LP, as it contains quite a bit of witty banter between characters and humorous situations combined with exciting story events.
